Erika grew up in Fernie and loved living where the mountains provided endless adventure around every corner. After university, she moved back to town and took up woodworking, where she quickly developed a passion for creating practical art using wood.
Inspired by the forests and stunning mountains surrounding us, these pieces are made with natural elements to help us feel more connected and grounded to the natural world. Through simple, thoughtful design, she aims to bring a touch of nature into everyday life. Her work reflects a love of designing, uniqueness, quiet details, and craftmanship.
These pieces combine the skills of classic woodworking and hand finishing, while using the modern technology of graphic design and a laser machine. Everyday, she is inspired by the wilderness and tries to figure out how she can turn those memorable outdoor moments into a phone case, necklaces or earrings.
