Lori Kennedy grew up in Fernie and feels fortunate to now be raising her own family here. The Fernie Arts Co-Op provides her with a place to share her passion for creating. Lori has been sewing and creating using various mediums for many years. Her love of textiles began in high school where she first used a sewing machine and then went on to make her grad dress the same year. She enjoys quilt making and combining fabrics to produce practical and appealing items. Scrapwork is her favourite and her pieces often combine both new and up-cycled fabrics. Lori has a love for the outdoors and enjoys many activities that the Elk Valley has to offer, mountain biking being on the top of her list. Check her out on Instagram @scrapaddict.
